Kundalini Yoga 

Kundalini yoga focuses on movement and transformation of energy. A kundalini practice helps build physical stamina, enhances cognitive function, and spiritual connection. Classes typically encompass body postures (asana), breathwork (pranayama), hand positions (mudra), meditation, and mantra. In Kundalini yoga we follow specific sequences of yogic technique, which focus on something in particular, for example digestion or opening the heart center. This can also make the classes range from easy to challenging. All levels are welcome!

 

Savannah was born in Chicago and grew up in Charleston, SC where she started practicing Kundalini yoga from a young age alongside her mother. She fell in love with this style of yoga the first time she took her mother’s class, and knew she wanted to teach. Kundalini yoga is a yoga that works on a deep level which helps to navigate through difficult times in life, and bring a sense of completeness and joy. Savannah went through a 200- hour immersion teacher training at the Kundalini Research Institute in New Mexico and received her certificate in 2014.
